    Goffredo Reggiani (1929 - )

    Italian lighting designer

     

    A household name in mid-century modern design, Goffredo Reggiani is known for his futuristic looking designs of lamps as a response to the space age which began in the late 1960s. Sputnik and globe shapes as well as elongated ovals are repeated motifs of his designs. He founded his lighting company Reggiani in Italy which is still in production today.
