Treasure House Art Fair: STAND NUMBER 106

Two recognized masters of modern European and Chinese art are at the heart of 3812’s presentation at Treasure House Fair: Zao Wou-ki and Chu Teh-Chun whose work can be found in major collections from the Tate to the Pompidou through New York’s MOMA.

Zao Wou-Ki moved to Paris in the late 1940s; and Chu Teh-Chun joined him there in 1955. Between them, they revolutionised what counted as abstract art in both Europe and China - and the art market has recognised their immense achievement on the post-war stage.

Complementing them will be the extraordinary work of Hsiao Chin  - as important to Italian post-war art history as Zao Wou-ki and Chu The-Chun are to French art history. Like them, his work can be found in major collections from the Metropolitan in New York to M+ in Hong Kong.

These masters of post-war art are presented side by side with contemporary artists Raymond Fung, Liu Guofu, TJ Ren, Zhao Zhao, Chloe Ho and Qian Wu.
