Delphine de Saxe-Cobourg
Delphine de Saxe-Cobourg (b. 1968, Brussels, Belgium) is an Anglo-Belgian artist and colourist whose multidisciplinary practice spans painting, video, sculpture and neon. She graduated with a B.A. (Honours) from Chelsea School of Art, London, in 1991, and lived and worked in London until 2003 before establishing a new studio in Brussels.
Her work is widely recognised for its vibrant, playful and quirky visual language, often combining bold colour, direct text and emotionally charged imagery to explore sincerity, love, identity and human connection. Across a career of more than three decades, Delphine de Saxe-Cobourg has presented solo exhibitions in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, and has participated in group exhibitions and art fairs in cities including Brussels, London, Venice, Miami, Stockholm and Monaco.
Her practice has also extended into collaborations with international brands and institutions including Absolut, Coca-Cola, Bic and the Red Cross. Working across media while maintaining a highly individual visual vocabulary, she has developed a body of work that is at once provocative, personal and immediately accessible.
