Performance & Artist Sharing | Her Embodied Language in Art

To celebrate the women group exhibition "Woven Voices - Her Story in Art" in our London gallery and to bring more depth into the "collective voices", we are pleased to present a performance and artist sharing event "Her Embodied Language in Art".

Three female artists — Eleanor Ekserdjian, Elena Shkvarkina and J.Lei — will invite audiences to explore how movement can be encoded through artistic gesture, process and materiality within contemporary abstract practice, through live performance and personal sharing.

This event explores the gestural energies and visual languages employed by the three participating artists, examining how each channels memory, sensation, thought and perception through different media to create works that are emotionally palpable, though not always materially tangible.

All three artists share a common interest in translating personal and psychological narratives through unconventional media: Ekserdjian transforms projected imagery into lyrical fields of tension and atmosphere; Shkvarkina taps into ritualistic movement in performance for the process of healing and transformation; J.Lei's abstract practice juxtaposes movement and stillness through instinctive gestures layered onto photographic landscapes and mixed-media surfaces.

The event will be conducted in English and "body language". Kindly RSVP (london@3812cap.com) at your earliest convenience to book your spot. We look forward to welcoming you and sharing this engaging experience with you.
