Cathay and Victor Wong Come Together to Celebrate Creativity, Connecting People Worldwide

Congratulations to 3812 artist Victor Wong on the transformation of his artwork “PARAMITA” into a special livery on Cathay Pacific aircraft B-KQU which took its maiden flight yesterday.

Named the “Spirit of Hong Kong – 80th Anniversary Edition”, this aircraft continues Wong’s “Gallery in the Skies” story, with two of Wong’s ink paintings showcased in the Business cabins of Cathay Pacific’s Boeing 777-300ER fleet since 2024, following Cathay’s acquisition of Wong’s “Escapism” series in 2019.

Wong is recognized as the world’s first AI ink artist and a key figure in INK NOW, an initiative established by Calvin Hui of 3812 Gallery. In 2019, 3812 Gallery collaborated with Victor Wong to introduce the world’s first AI ink painting collection. Wong’s work will be featured in 3812 Gallery’s anniversary exhibition “The Ascent: 15 Years of 3812 Gallery”.
