To celebrate the exhibition ”Tranquil State: Eric Lai Wai Lam Solo Exhibition“, we are pleased to present an Artist Talk between the artist Eric Lai Wai Lam, CUHK’s Associate Professor Zhou Jin, and the curator Agnes Wu as we delve into the profound artistic journey of Eric Lai Wai Lam.
“Lai’s paintings are the embodiment of his act of looking. His meticulous paintings do not merely reproduce the world but selectively observe—those forgotten, overlooked moments of everyday life are imbued with weight and brilliance in his work.” Remarked Agnes Wu, Exhibition Curator and Director of 3812 Gallery.
