This carefully curated collection features iconic works such as Heart Seal –1 (1957), Contemplation (1962), Illuminated  Heart – 1 (1963), Inner Light (1966), Vento Cosmico – 28 (1988), La sublimazione di Samantha -23 (1992), Flying Over the Eternal Garden – 23 (1998), Samadhi – 38 (2000), Universe Light (2003), Heart in Infinity (2006), Moon of Spring (2016), and Hope-2 (2021). Significantly, this exhibition marks the first large-scale showcase of Hsiao Chin's work in London since 1966, when he held his first solo exhibition at Signal Gallery. Adding to his prominence, the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi recently acquired masterpieces from Hsiao Chin’s “universe and light” series for its permanent collection. His extensive museum collection record spans institutions from MoMA New York to M+ Hong Kong, from the Musée Guimet in Paris to the Song Museum in Beijing. Furthermore, a solo exhibition curated by Philip Dodd at the Rothko Museum in Daugalvis, Latvia in 2020, has further solidified Hsiao Chin's status as a leading post-war abstract master artist.
