Saeideh Mirshekar

Saeideh Mirshekar (born 1984, Bojnourd, Iran) is a painter based in Paris. After living and working in Tehran for several years and participating in numerous group exhibitions, she moved to Paris in 2023, where she currently works from her studio at the Poush Art Center.

Her paintings often begin with images, places, or moments that persist in memory. Interested in the distance between observation and recollection, she explores how images change over time as memory and imagination reshape them. Recurring elements such as flowers, plants, and windows appear throughout her work, not as fixed motifs, but as points of return within an ongoing process of transformation.
