3812 is an international art platform with gallery spaces in London and Hong Kong. Co-founded by Mark Peaker and Calvin Hui, 3812 connects artists, collectors, institutions and cultural partners across markets, with a focus on cross-border and cross-cultural exchange between East and West.In 2010, the art business concept of 3812 began. In 2011, 3812 opened its first contemporary art space in Hong Kong, establishing its foundation in Asia through curatorial programming, collector engagement and cultural initiatives. In 2018, the official name “3812 Gallery” was registered, and opened its London gallery as part of its long-term international expansion strategy. In 2025, the London gallery relocated to The Whiteley, marking a further stage in the Group’s international development. 3812 U.K. has since become the Group’s principal operating platform for deepening the engagement with artists, collectors, institutions and cultural partners across the U.K., Europe and international markets.3812 operates across two complementary market gateways: London, one of the world’s most established international art centres and a bridge to the U.K. and Europe; and Hong Kong, one of Asia’s most dynamic art-market hubs and a gateway to collectors, institutions and cultural communities across the region. Through these dual presences, 3812 seeks to create opportunities for artists and artworks to reach wider international audiences. The Group’s development reflects the complementary roles of its co-founders. Mark Peaker, CEO and Co-founder, leads 3812’s global development, with a particular focus on the London gallery, the U.K. and European markets, and the Group’s international relationships with collectors, institutions, arts organisations and cultural partners. Calvin Hui, CFO and Co-founder, focuses on Asia, where 3812 was founded, and plays a central role in the Group’s curatorial direction, programming development and collector engagement across the region.3812 represents, promotes and collaborates with selected artists across modern and contemporary art, Chinese ink, painting, sculpture, porcelain and other media. Its platform brings together artistic practices rooted in diverse cultural traditions and contemporary expressions, supporting dialogue between artists, collectors, institutions and audiences across Asia, Europe and other international markets.Beyond its gallery programme, 3812 provides art-related services including exhibitions, curatorial programming, collector advisory, art education, provenance documentation and collection-management support. Through these activities, the Group seeks to support artists, collectors, family offices, institutions and cultural partners across the art ownership lifecycle.3812 is committed to responsible collecting, cultural exchange and the long-term development of a cross-border art ecosystem connecting East and West.
